Husband and father of four children, Rudy Haïm was hit by a motorcycle on his way home and died. His wife, Vanessa, contacted Mikael to create a piece using four objects that belonged to him, so she could keep them with her forever.

A creation made with love and respect
Vanessa contacted me to create a piece using these 4 objects — bougainvillea flowers, a kippah, a tsitsit, and a stone — by encasing them in resin, so she could keep them with her forever.
It's a tedious job that requires a lot of patience and concentration. A single mistake in the steps, and the creation is lost—it's irreversible. Each gesture is carefully made, each inclusion intentionally placed.
Rudy loved his fellow man. He was a joyful, smiling, kind man who enjoyed life and spending time with his family. This creation was made with love and respect, to honor his memory.
